Tiramisu cake tasted AMAZING and looks so beautiful !! I'm definitely getting my cakes here from now on!!

The chocolate dream cake is a very light and creamy cake. It's a good dessert to eat after a heavy meal. The cream is fresh and has a cocoa like taste that melts in your mouth. Really like the fresh berries and chocolate decoration on top with edible personalized message. The owners are nice and the shop is always well stocked with pastries, breads, and cakes. Some cakes require advance order. Lots of parking located in Kapalama Shopping Center.

I went close to closing a lot of the things were gone but omg I got their red velvet cupcake and Japanese cheese cake. Wow! Soooo good! The cake is very dense and the frosting on top is perfection! The Japanese cheesecake was yummy too!

I've heard of this business for many years, but never had a chance to go. Finally went and got to see what it was like. There were a few people in the bake shop that seemed to be repeat customers. The owner seemed to have a good relationship with them. They were treated much better. I grabbed a spam and egg bun for breakfast. Nothing to complain about. The bread was tender, and the spam and egg were pretty standard. Nothing to write home about but it was enjoyable enough.

I have been shopping at Elvin for many years, they make their pastry and bread fresh daily, their cakes are to our liking because they are not very sweet. The store looks clean and the owner speak Chinese and since we are Chinese, they recognized us every time I shop. There are plenty of parkings, however the on going rail construction kind of make the traffic back up from time to time but I still go there every so often, go and support this local business

Got a Tiramisu- if you like cake with more cake than frosting this Tiramisu is for you! my daughter loved the milk rolls wide selection of pastries too

My last post on Elvin's Bakery on Dillingham Blvd. was a decade ago. Holy Hannah, time has flown by! Now that work is remote, we don't have the opportunity to visit Elvin's as much as we did previously. However, we've been there repeatedly for their Japanese Milk Bread which is yummy! We grill it with butter and add Bonne Maman Raspberry preserves. That yummy goodness paired with cold brew is simply divine! As an aside, their Vietnamese Iced Coffee is delicious! They have a selection both cold and hot coffee selections which go great with their pastries! Naturally, the family favorite Crown Bread and savory pastries are still enjoyed and have maintained their quality of taste. Elvin's remains one of our favorite go to bakeries, so go down and try their baked goods. You won't be disappointed!

Finally got to stop by Elvin's Bakery located in the Kapalama shopping center next door to Ahi & vegetable . Thanks to auntie Nadine C. several birthday gatherings she bought birthday cakes from there . It was so delicious I ordered a strawberry shortcake for my nephew birthday coming up on 6/10. One of the cakes I tried was the strawberry shortcake. Elvin's Bakery cakes is so light and moist and very fresh . In their showcase they have a good selection of cakes to purchase if you go early . For your convenience so you don't have to pre-order a particular cake . I also was lucky enough to try Elvin's chestnut cake as well and let me tell you it was different in a good way . I thought ok it's going to be nutty and gritty but to my surprise it was like a light brown chestnut purée in between 2 layers of moist cake . If you haven't try their cakes it's a must . Support local and I'll be back for other occasions

Yo... need a cake? Elvins has got you covered. Located in the Kapalama Shopping Center on Dillingham Blvd, you'll see them by the nail salon. Parking is plentiful, so find a stall and head on in. I've sampled the Tiramisu, Red Velvet and their Mango cakes. All were moist, tasty and above all ONO! The Tiramisu was really creamy, and that was a different creamyto me for a Tiramisu. Very Fluffy as I can best describe. The Red Velvet's cream cheese was supa tasty and was a huge compliment to the already moist velvet layers. The Mango I remember as being just sweet enough to let the mango flavor pull through with their soft, moist cake. Elvin's signature seems to be their white chocolate plaques in which any message can be written in chocolate and placed on the cake. Will need to see how their chocolate dream cake is as well as all the other pastries this spot makes. Till then, Grind On, Pau!
